To be fair he is Portuguese so he might not actually understand that

But on topic that colour is amazing! Love it

RE: Ell Diablo - Poodle - 10-04-2013

I dont understand that, so seid hasnt got a hope haha.

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 29-04-2013

Made some good progress this afternoon with the aid of Samass and Niall.

Got my new BakerBM adjustable camber top mount fitted (just). The turrets need grinding back to get any form of camber. Just got these fitted and bolted up as it was getting late. Nice and shiney though Smile Also got the strut fitted as per pics

Also fitted my harness bar from Floz123. Nice piece of work. Fitted spot on

Next, to carry on wrapping. Hopfully lol

RE: Ell Diablo - Dum-Dum - 29-04-2013

Looking good mate.

RE: Ell Diablo - puglove - 29-04-2013

If you havnt already done it grant. you need to go up through the wheel arch to get the filler cap off. and you will need to remove the neck to get onto the bolts it is a bit of a PITA

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 29-04-2013

You ledge Jamie. Cheers fella, I was proper stumped with that haha

RE: Ell Diablo - puglove - 29-04-2013

if you can piss about abit IIRC you can unbolt the neck from the back around the hole to the filler cap and just move it out the way enough to get on the flap bolts without removing the neck completly. (from the bottom rubber 90*) but dont take that as fact i maybe talking shite

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

Not a lot of progress really since fitting the harness bar and top mounts. However, a harness bar is useless without harness' and harness' are useless without buckets. So....

Black faux leather (vinyl) cobra Monaco S' for an absolute steal.

Just need to get them mounted up now Smile

Next month:

-Seats Mounted
-Chop Suspension Turrets for more camber
-Fit lower brace
-Get roll cage put in (already have materials waiting just need to drop the car in)
-Wrap some more (funds depending)
-Heat wrap exhaust and manifold

Oh and what happens when scott turns up:

Exactly this, you hero!

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

Hopefully before FCS. Don't hold me to that though! lol.

Want to get solid lower engine mount in as the current one is fubar'd and get seats and cage in. If any dollah is left then the turbo goes on Smile

Ell Diablo - Jonny b - 12-05-2013

I got a spare cradle for the mount if you need one, who's welding the cage in for ya?

RE: Ell Diablo - Tom - 12-05-2013

Turbo winning.

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

Mount comes in the cradle cheers anyway Jonny Smile

A bloke who Niall's dad knows from back in the day. Does mostly bodywork now but dabbles in metal work still. Bought the tube last summer but never got round to getting it fitted sadly

Ell Diablo - Jonny b - 12-05-2013

Hairy muff bud, you got omp cage ain't ya?

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

No mate, fully custom. He's bought all the tube, gonna bend it up and weld it in Smile

Going full cage with side protection too, because practicality is over rated lol

Ell Diablo - Jonny b - 12-05-2013

Ha ha I hear ya! Lol

RE: Ell Diablo - Scott - 12-05-2013

I can't wait to see the cage in this, even more so with the turbo!

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

So mount the turbo to the cage scott? Hear the whistle better then right? lol

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

Nope that now slots into the hole in your new buckets that's just below your crotch!!!

RE: Ell Diablo - Scott - 12-05-2013

Well it's easier to monitor boost than having to look at a boost gauge...Who needs PSi when you can just measure the litres of blood pouring from your ears lol

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 12-05-2013

Lol so i get a nice bit of blow off in my groin (giggedy) and weeping oriface's. Sounds good to me! lol
