I'm in two minds. Looks a little too 'saxo-esque' for my liking...

RE: Ell Diablo - 4WayDiablo - 05-04-2013

They're quite an impressive fit

Ell Diablo - Jonny b - 05-04-2013

Would need epic wide wheels or spacers to pull it off bud!!

Wrapping looks pretty damn good fella! Love the colour

I reckon a 15/20mm hubcentric should do the trick. The arches themselves are only that depth themselves, so should bring it back to where it was.

RE: Ell Diablo - Dum-Dum - 05-04-2013

I've got 20mm hubcentrics id be willing to sell, the proper bolt to hub type with the correct bolts.

Got any 5mm ones?

RE: Ell Diablo - lolsteve - 05-04-2013

Do the arches, always felt the 306 has been missing that looks too flat without

RE: Ell Diablo - Slam Wagon - 05-04-2013

Loving the arches, they might be just what i need to be able to tuck the front of my car too. The colour is porn aswell. Nice job, lets see some more.

The hubcentrics come with their own bolts, the spacer bolts to the hub, then the wheel sits on the lip of the spacer like it would the hub, then there's 4 different holes in the spacer itself that you use your normal cyclone or whatever bolts with.

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 05-04-2013

Yeah but every spacer kit I have seen has tapered bolts, not flat seating ones that the clones need. IIRC that is

if they are hubcentric, you would use the standard clone bolts. The wheel bolts into the spacer and then bolt the spacer to the hub with the bolts provided.

Doesnt matter on the bolt type for the spacer. They will more than likely be tapered.

Proper hubcentric (you will find a lot on ebay that say they are but aren't) spacers. see what i mean?

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 05-04-2013

Ah furry muff, cheers man

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 06-04-2013

Nothing too exciting more happened today, just a little tidying up really. I've just recently fallen back in love with this car after a couple of months of a love hate relationship with it.

Got the dummy filler wrapped. Does anyone have any idea how to remove the filer cap?!?! lol

RE: Ell Diablo - Tallguy_2 - 06-04-2013

Interesting mate, curious to see it all when it's wrapped, how much is the vinyl?

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 07-04-2013

The vinyl is £8.15 per linear meter on a 1524mm wide roll

Beats the £800 upwards for paying to have it done haha

RE: Ell Diablo - Connor - 07-04-2013

The filler cap trim is just clipped in, get a plastic re removal tool and pop it out you gay xx

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 07-04-2013

No the actual filler cap, not the trip on it. The bit you open to put petrol in y'know? x

Thats bolted in from behind the body. You might be able to take the liner out from that wheel arch and get a ratchet up there but you might have to take the filler neck off

RE: Ell Diablo - Fozzy - 07-04-2013

if you take the interior trim off there are two holes which you can fit a ratchet throuch and undo the two bolts that hold the cap on

RE: Ell Diablo - Connor - 07-04-2013

Can't you just vinyl it on the car? Saves hastle

RE: Ell Diablo - cwspellowe - 07-04-2013

Er, you sure about the cap? IIRC from doing my filler strips on the GTi there's a couple of screws behind the filler strip, and that's all?

RE: Ell Diablo - Grant - 07-04-2013

RE: Ell Diablo - cwspellowe - 07-04-2013
