RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Ed Doe - 24-07-2012 I'm sure Ive heard of people using the 307 discs before, but they're SO heavy! RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Dum-Dum - 24-07-2012 Kingy your wheels are more bronze (IMO) I want a proper light gold like cullys. If i can get up to 300mm then it starts being worth while getting custom discs and bells made and theyer LIGHT! RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Niall - 24-07-2012 I've just realised this is R reg. ph2 fail! Nah does look good mate. Needs black masks and mirror caps. Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Jake - 24-07-2012 So you lied when I asked you if you had bought a '6... Looks awesome though! RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Poodle - 25-07-2012 Hahah Dum can't keep a secret for toffee, was pretty obvious the moment he put up that decat thread and got the new sig in the same day. ![]() RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Dum-Dum - 25-07-2012 (24-07-2012, 09:36 PM)Jake Wrote: So you lied when I asked you if you had bought a '6... Cheers Mate, I didnt lie, I just said it wasnt telling anyone. Possibly an update tomorrow depending on what the post man has brought me. RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Dum-Dum - 29-07-2012 So Ive shed a few kilos off the front end but added a 6 splitter. The big changes are swapping from pug twin fans to a single large slimline (its wedged between the cross member and the slam panel). Reducing the amount of wiring for the fans and swapping to a smaller washer bottle that is eventually going to be mounted on the back of the ECU box. In total its about another 10kg off and theres still a little more to come off. RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - C.A.R. - 29-07-2012 Can see one big glaring object that could be sacrificed for weight in 5 out of those 6 photographs... Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Jonny b - 29-07-2012 Looking good buddy can't wait to see it! RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Ed Doe - 29-07-2012 (29-07-2012, 03:24 PM)c.a.r. Wrote: Can see one big glaring object that could be sacrificed for weight in 5 out of those 6 photographs... That'd be the bonnet lining I spose ![]() Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - ash240970 - 29-07-2012 You need a carbon fibre bonnet to lose some more weight off the front end. RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Matt - 29-07-2012 Drop the engine out! Will be light as f*ck then ![]() RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - 4WayDiablo - 29-07-2012 Surprised you didn't rid the front bumper of the white support on the inside. Chris crowther I think his name is managed to get his 6 Down to ~900kgs He also makes polycarb windows too to save weight and they're not that expensive. He even makes them with the runner holes in them so you can open them too :-) RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - C.A.R. - 29-07-2012 Wouldn't want polycarb windows on a road car to be honest, other sacrifices to be made first! GRP panels if they're cheap enough would be a good bet. It's finding the line between losing the weight and ruining the appearance though... RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - 4WayDiablo - 29-07-2012 What's up with polycarb windows lol there really isn't much of a difference. He also single skinned his bonnet too rather than going CF route RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Ed Doe - 29-07-2012 What apart from the fact you have to rivet them in place an they make the car look like a proper track slag..? RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Dum-Dum - 29-07-2012 Bianca is a slags name so it's all good. He does them with holes for the runners on the window winders Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Jonny b - 29-07-2012 I'd be interested in a set of poly windows chris maybe we could get a bit off Or group buy lol RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Poodle - 29-07-2012 I'll go for a group buy on those! RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Matt - 29-07-2012 guy on '6 forumdoesem pretty cheap anyway lol Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Jonny b - 29-07-2012 (29-07-2012, 08:45 PM)Matt Wrote: guy on '6 forumdoesem pretty cheap anyway lol How cheap I don't really on go on there RE: Dum-Dums Bianca GTi6 - Matt - 29-07-2012 I'll see if I can find the guy, iirc it's eddy.
