I drive an unsprung paddle daily. And its a 4 paddle aswell, no problem at all. Dont see where all this paddle clutch moaning comes from.

RE: stage 2 clutch options - mattyh24hdi - 15-02-2014

It depends on the pressure plate. I guess you're using a CG 4 paddle clutch on the XUD which uses a standard Valeo pressure plate which isn't really much different to standard feel.

RE: stage 2 clutch options - Tom - 16-02-2014

Im using the plate that came from CG with the paddle.

RE: stage 2 clutch options - Ricky - 16-02-2014

Yeah, they gave me a standard Valeo.

RE: stage 2 clutch options - Alan_M - 17-02-2014

I'm in the market for a new clutch and previous threads suggest a Sachs (Sachs 3000950026) setup is adequate for stage 2. Correct or not?

RE: stage 2 clutch options - mattyh24hdi - 24-02-2014

Yeh sorry mate was fitted Saturday all seems good at the moment very happy with it. Still breaking it in at the moment not gone to mad with it but seems to handle torque really well would recommend for the money personally think it's a brilliant clutch kit.

RE: stage 2 clutch options - mcglynn - 25-02-2014

RE: stage 2 clutch options - mattyh24hdi - 25-02-2014

stage 2 clutch options - SupaStar88 - 03-04-2014

Anyone actually fitted a gti6 fly ect and give a review of one?

RE: stage 2 clutch options - DTubZz - 23-04-2014

On stage 1+ and my standard clutch has started slipping after a week, been told it may bed back in a little but in case it doesn't, I'm wondering whether to get a Sachs clutch kit? Are they good enough to hold 240+ torque?

RE: stage 2 clutch options - mattyh24hdi - 24-04-2014

I just had stage 1 map and my clutch was shot when I changed it. The thrust bearing had disintegrated and had melted into pressure plate was rather cool to see mind. Not so sure on sachs clutch seem rather good.
