Stick your hand down there and 'feel' for them. Wink

Yep this, and I found it a bitch! Glad it's out the way Tongue

Its easy tbh...getting the clips in is the hardest part if you're a clumsy bugger like me, prepare for several minutes spent looking for dropped clips on the driveway. Tongue

What do you need to see? Just feel your way around...

I have this to do on my HDi, but I have been putting, and putting it off. As I wasn't sure on how to remove them, i can see it been a f*ck on for me sadly.

RE: Gear Linkages Fitting Guide? - LewisG - 24-10-2014

My only worry is, i get the old ones off and cant get the new ones on lol the clips are going to be the hard bit

RE: Gear Linkages Fitting Guide? - Toms306 - 24-10-2014

Lol, it'll be fine. Bet you'll do it in half an hour and wonder what you were worried about. Wink

This is something i need to do, fair bit of slack when in gear

RE: Gear Linkages Fitting Guide? - LewisG - 26-10-2014

Well I fitted the gear linkages, Wasnt that hard, to be honest the hardest part was getting the old ones off, but using a spanner worked a treat, thanks guys! Realised how bad my oil leak is, the back of the engine is soaked, its engine oil, but the level doesnt seem to be dropping so im stuck on that one

Probably a minor leak that hasn't been cleaned over many years?

I thought i had a major injector seal leak until i degreased the engine and realised it was relatively minor
