You'll be fine just keeping the standard shocks to be honest, but if you want to upgrade the rear shocks I think quite a lot of people use the Koni rear adjustable so they must be alright!

Really? Do they have that much movement in them then? Thinking about uprating the torsions too

Buy coilover, go low,

Lower the front untill the arch is inline with the arch (50 profile)

Then the same again on the rear, lower untill the arch is inline with the tyre

like so

My 50 profile started to rub when turning when I went about 90mm lower.

Ive new 60mm saxo/106 springs here if your interested.

Dont put saxo springs on it!!! its a horendous bodge! they are no where near rated for the weight and dislocate which is illegal and an MOT failer

I'm on spaxo springs Jamie (not my choice) and they aren't that bad

RE: How much to lower by? - puglove - 25-03-2013

I wouldnt do it by choice, you know it would handle better on even chepo coilies.

Okay so sounds like coilies are the conclusion Wink next question is then...which ones? And if anyone happens to have some floating about which they don't mind parting with in exchange for some cash then that would be appreciated Smile

I agree I don't like the look it's too low and I've had to have abit of stretch toget wheels to fit the guy who lowered it lowered it way more than 55/60 I want it so I can have the wheels flush with the arch not in the arch

RE: How much to lower by? - 306GT30 - 01-04-2013

yes mate, it needs to be raised a bit

How much to lower by? - Jukie88 - 01-04-2013

Thinking of raising the front abit also I'm just trashing my bumper and sump it's all good and well being low like a boss but with the roads around here it's just braking the car :-(
