I had no idea you took those! Surprisingly it doesn't look too dirty! At least the exhaust is fitted properly now!

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - Carlos182 - 26-08-2013

Well as some of you know, I am now the proud owner of this!
Hopefully will have a few more pictures soon, but I've been at work all weekend and I don't get a day off until tomorrow.
Few little things I want to sort out, but nothing major! plus all of those things are soon forgotten when you plant your right foot! Heart

Good to see you the other day buddy Smile

You've got a cracking car there too, low mileage, and very well looked after Smile

Righty-o. Had a day off work today, so set about giving it a good clean.
First off before washing was to get the plastics looking black again.
Started with the spoiler - midway through;

Did the mirrors, scuttle panel etc too, but those aren't that interesting to look at!

Caps went back on the wheels and then had a quick wash, ended up looking like this;

Decided to freshen up the wheels with a fresh coat of paint too, they aren't too bad, but are looking a bit tired. Only got one done today, but looks better for it. Also gave the bolts a quick blast over with some silver as they were looking tired too.

Then decided to have a play with the spare fuel strip things. Thought I'd try white and see what it looked like.

Don't like it, so back to this

Then went for a quick driver after

Yes, I'm a picture whore. Big Grin

Looking awesome mate!

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - ginge191 - 27-08-2013

Such a nice car; height spot on, wheels spot on, not a fan of the f'arbon but each to their own!

beauty! Big Grin

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - Scott - 27-08-2013

That looks awesome Carl Smile So pleased to see that the car has gone to someone with some proper enthusiasm for it who will get things done. The spoiler and wheels look much tidier now and help finish the car! Love it.

I'm hoping the car was still nice and easy to clean? It was clayed, polished and waxed about 6 weeks ago so should still be good!

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - samass - 27-08-2013

:O

have you RAISED the front??!!??

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - Scott - 27-08-2013

It's on eibach springs rather than the coilovers mate

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - samass - 27-08-2013

Still fairly easy. Needs another coats of wax or two for my liking, but that's just me!

Mhmm, might get them in purple before Coombe all being well.
Banding is definitely on the cards though!
P.S - Any chance of the thread title being changed? :p

those rims look epic. I be terrified of stone chips though!

RE: Scott's (& Ed's) Astor Grey GTi-6 - Scott - 31-08-2013

Carl if you're planning on banding then I'm guessing you'll be getting normal steels rather than trying to do the c5s?
