Re: Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 28-03-2012 The car is very dirty in the pics, wheels are full of brake dust. Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 11-04-2012 Got some new catch tank hoses today along with an inline filter, also jazzed up the power steering pipe with the spare catch tank hose.. ![]() ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - strictly_perv - 11-04-2012 How is it with the in-line filter? Re: Stage 3 XUD project - silverzx - 11-04-2012 Have you added it in addition to the current filter? Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 11-04-2012 It drives exactly the same, and no the old filter and housing are nomore only the one under rear seat is left Re: Stage 3 XUD project - kingy - 11-04-2012 looking good padge. by the way your 2 clips missing off your grill. ![]() Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 11-04-2012 I know lol Re: Stage 3 XUD project - ginge191 - 11-04-2012 kingy Wrote:looking good padge. by the way your 2 clips missing off your grill. factory standard, no car has a grill intact.. Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 11-04-2012 Mine did! ![]() Stage 3 XUD project - padge - 09-05-2012 So today went to jenks house, and he kindly rerouted my battery and mounted my oil cooler. ![]() ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 09-05-2012 Have you got fans on the oil cooler or something? Even if you have, cant see it being very effective in there as the airs hot / its just gunna circulate the same hot air around and around.... Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Jenkosowls - 09-05-2012 Was something that I had discussed with Kyle the way it's set should be enough room below to get a cold air feed up into I did also mention about possibly a fan too. But the cold air feed or fan is upto Kyle now Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 09-05-2012 Hm yeah but theres not gunna be naff all air flow there....the engine bay just turns into a big warm air space....all the hot air from the rad / engine just heats it up, like that install unless totally isolated is going to make no difference :S So you relocated your battery at expanse of cable / battery box etc, and spend 100+ quid on an oil cooler, and fitted it where it wont make much / if any difference at all lol.... Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Dave - 09-05-2012 Have you still got your stock cooler into the coolant system?.... cos having it there will overheat due to lack of airflow as soon as you push anything, no offence kyle but thats not very race spec ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Dan! - 09-05-2012 because racecar Re: Stage 3 XUD project - Atterz - 09-05-2012 because racecar ? ![]() Re: Stage 3 XUD project - darrenjlobb - 09-05-2012 As Dave said, hope you have left the stock water cooler fitted, as the stock cooler does ALOT more than you might think, and theres no way on earth that is going to manage that, let alone offer a boost, so you will be cooking oil if you have bypassed the stock bit, which if you havent, also defeats the point lol... Just get it mounted somewhere in air stream them ur money is doing its job, atm its just wasted... Re: Stage 3 XUD project - cwspellowe - 09-05-2012 Dan! Wrote:because racecar ![]() +1 |
