No - no more black crap will come off. Ive been under there with wire wool and everything. It wont budge, shy of taking paint off.
Removed the harness bar plates and cleaned them up as they were under there untreated:

Got round to the front of the car and started attacking the chassis legs where they meet the slam panel:

Also attacked where the boot stops rest. A seam there where I've seen a few cars start to rust:

And then made up a distribution plate for my battery to allow more thread into the terminal, as I was a bit worried about it holding fine:

Cheers dude. Been making some good headway the last couple of weeks. Using up everything i have stockpiled that I never find time to fit.
Still gotta grind some rust out of the front and underseal there
Also some surface rust on the lower panel where the rad sits that needs addressing

it's shit isn't it.
this is what i do at work. on shitty land rovers all covered in sheep shite.
but not with a rush, with a spray gun, so it goes f*cking EVERYWHERE
i refuse to underseal the nad, it can rot. i'd rather reweld than f*cking underseal.
