Right, what's the deal here? The heater matrix pipes that I bought have the correct fitting but the pipes at the other end are metal which is wrong because the cylinder head has metal pipes coming out of it which obviously need rubber hose to go onto them. Luckily I have plenty of spare chopped up hose but is there a way to fit this version properly?

Is that the full length of the pipe? As I remember it the metal section goes up behind the dash and through the bulkhead where two it joins to rubber hoses and into the head from there. The picture would appear to be all the hoses for inside the car
No that's right them pipes run along the bulkhead, then there should be 2 rubber hoses to go on the end of that to the block
I have a pair of these in full rubber/length. £25 posted.

What cars this for? Dturbo or gti? Those pipes you have look like gti.
Err nope Jonny, they're gti pipes. DT ones go in different directions, one towards the N/S and one towards the O/S. Those pipes both go to the thermostat housing on the N/S of the gti block.
Effort, thought that was the case.
Well I didn't know what car he had did I ha ha
There older DT one, the old models had steels across bulkhead (right farce as clogs up space), later ones just had rubber straight to head / distro.
Okay, I'll have to cut the connector off and connect it to the current setup, not a big problem.
