So as my China needed a few little this I did the only wise thing and bought another car! Hopefully my man maths will work out on this decision
Car in question is Jamie_uk2000's old car (306gti6.com member) which I know quiet well as i sold Jamie the car 8 years ago after putting a low mileage xsara engine into it and then selling him some of the modifications. Jamie had converted the car into a track day car but had lost the bug and it sat for 18 months outside his house.Sadly he lost the love and we agreed a price for me to have it once again.
The car has many goodies such as Ash's 330mm 406 V6 Brembo set up,Full Jetex exhaust system,Rich W roller bearing bottom arms and a Jord rebuilt beam with 21mm torsion bars.
Sadly the old girl is past saving so i'll be taking the bits i want and selling the rest hopefully to cover the purchase cost if my man maths works out right :thumbsup
Here's a few pics of all the goodies I had
Most of the bits are up for grabs bar the rear beam and bottom arms as I want them for my own car.
what size are the wheels please?
The 310 Ash kit is good enough but them 330s are mental! lol

Wheels.on the car are the 15 inch cyclones.to fit the brakes you need at least 16 inch alloys and if not 17's for the 330mm set up!

I have never used them but I bet they cause dash kissing moments lol
My 310s with RS calipers and brembo discs and pads are mental really. Ive never really pushed them hard on a track day for example so dont know how they would fare after half hour of constant abuse but christ do you end up stuck to the windscreen. As fooby found out when he didnt realise how quickly he was approaching a stationary car when i was trying to convince him to boost his 6 lol

Haha my wilwoods are great so good knows what the 330's are like!
Shame that they don't fit behind most 16's as they look lovely
rats! (15" steels, rear discs) Thanks buddy
I haven't had the chance to fit all the goodies taken off the Diablo yet (rose jointed gear linkages/rebuilt rear beam with 21mm tb's/roller bearing bottom arms/Jetex system/lower strut brace) due to weather so it turned my attention to the inside and bought these beauties
Niall has managed to fit these to his own GTI6 so I'm planning on doing the same but unlike Niall's mine are full leather and have power motors fitted that I need to figure out how to power, doh!!!
You will need to sack off the seat belt plugs and use the 306 pre tensioner which also will need a bolt spacer making up

Cheers for the info Niall just hope the weather's good this weekend for me to take a look!
So it's HAPPY CAR DAY!!!
As it's the first day i've been back in the China i've noticed a few things that I forgotten about 6 ownership.
The main one being the fact that the clutches can get so heavy over time on them so a quick pop on GSF's website and this was bought
Also bought a new cable a few weeks back and will get new gearbox bushes from Pug to make sure it's nice and light!
Also just a small update from today.I can't stand the orange bulbs in the side repeaters so bought some silvertec bulbs for them to clear them up.
Before
After
As I use to tell my ex it's the little things that matter
do they shine white or amber?

Hello Roley.
Why do you need motors to adjust your seats?
Have you broken your arms?

Dont know about the leather ones but my cloth ones are substantially lighter than the standard 6 seats
I no where your old car is
10mins from my house
So like the massive ball bag ive been toying with the idea of selling/breaking the car as I do like to chop and change quite often.
Got to the point where I had a buyer for it but I've had a change of heart and the China s**tbox is staying!
This arrived at work friday which has got me very excited
Happy Valentine's day to the one I love!
Yesterday started with a 5am wake up call to meet Chris Joy aka darkgti6.
Sadly just after Christmas Chris' car was involved in an accident and was written off. His loss was my gain as I managed to buy loads of goodies for the China at a great price.
No its just the small matter of fitting them all
