Hi guys, as some may know, I've changed the engine on
My 306dturbo, I've put the new engine in from a 405td..
I've come from the Lego Lucas pump, to the better Bosch.

However I can't seem to get the car to fire up now? I've put
A 12v feed to the solenoid, but still no luck, any help?

Cheers Laurence
got fuel at the pump?

got fuel at the injectors? Smile
Bled the injector lines?
Yeah bled injectors and all the stuff I can think off, but still no luck..

Only other thing is that when I connect my fuel lines to my pump, the grenade goes solid and then when I pull my fuel line off it has a pressure of air behind it..?
Is there fuel coming out of the pipe goin to pump when you pump the primer?
Yeah there's fuel coming out of the primer, but when I put it on the pump I get a blowback effect?
Have you got the pump inlet and outlet the wrong way round
Well that's what I'm thinking mate, I can't find any pics of the right way round?
fuel in the left front, out the rear right
Return is on pump sticking up at the back next to small leak off pipe . And inlet is usually one down from filter housing pretty much inline with it
Oh dear, now I feel really stupid.. Oppsss
Im awaiting IT RUNS NOW Smile
Unfortunately not jimbo lol... I put fuel lines the right way round and still no luck?

Also how do I tell if I've got a fully mech pump or semi Ecu pump?
Semi ecu pump will have some wiring and a sensor on top of throttle arm
I've got two solenoid's? But no wiring on top of throttle arm..
The two solenoids' you have should be one on the head of the pump. (where the injector lines join) and one on bottom of pump. The one on bottom of pump is cold start advance. Doesn't need to be connected. Check the one on the head clicks when you give it a feed.
Have you tried re bleeding the injectors now you are connected the right way round?
Right now I've got the right solenoid and the fuel lines the right way, I still can't get fuel up and no luck starting still ?
