Hi all,

Fitted a boost gauge on my D turbo earlier, when I cut the boost compensator pipe it was full of oil, im guessing this is new turbo time?

Cheers
steve
nah, they can pass a bit of oil for a fair while and not give up the ghost

it will have just accumulated there over a period of time
if I said its been running 26psi for a while now would you say the same?
I want to fit a better turbo anyway at some point, just don't want it to go pop yet lol
Most of them are the same, it just seems to be their thing. Mines the same
Oh that's alright then Smile
Yeah, mine was the same, standard when I got it with 104k on the clock. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Smile
Could be oil from the breather pipes anywy. every one ive had was the same.
That's alright then hopefully last until I get a new turbo for it Smile
It's probably not the turbo, more the oil breather.
Seem to remember Ruan pulling this pipe off my boost gauge in my car, before being covered in oil as I came on boost.

Oil ejaculate hahahaha
