Also the advance piston had some quite bad scoring and is stiffer than usual I don't have any photos atm tho
Normal but she's wearing ...

Probs been run on unfiltered fuel at some point
Second pic looks like pitting ?
Debris ?
Is there any way of draining the pump in position?

Yeah pump was ran on unfiltered red (off the road) for a couple of weeks when i first got it , then filtered cooking oil for ages till the seals went

So worth putting back together ?
Always diffficult to tell from a piccy.
Can you catch it with a nail around where the low pressure vane pump bits move?
Then it's worn.

My limited knowledge, is that if it's worn elsewhere, you should be ok as the rest of it is not requiring a seal.
The pump wont fail as such due to that wear, its worth a re-seal. It may have issues with the advance timing in the future
