So had a tinker with a lucas pump last night followed jammapics guide
so i screwed the compensator all the way in then out 2 turns
and upped the max fuel 90 degrees
now no fuel will come out of the pump
I hit the primer about a hundred times now iv cracked the injectors and nothings coming out
Taken the fuel pipe off and theres fuel there so its getting to the pump just not getting out
iv also removed the insides of the stop solenoid so its not that
Ideas , or should i just wack my bosch on it

Qft.
back the max fuel screw off 1/4 turn. some lucas pumps dont like being turned up to the max and wont let fuel through.
I Damaged this cause I thought it was the white cap clearly it isn't
Have no idea what this big hex thing is
Stop solenoid and the wiring has just been linked out by me and internals of the solenoid removed
Don't know what this wire does ... Looks like a earth
The seal to get in to up the max fuel instead of the common black plastic type

Iv been told this twice now I'll give it a shot
I've got a Bosch pump and lines if you're stuck without a working car, borrow them if needs be
cheers paul i borrowed a car for last night and this morning and backing of fuel 1/4 did the trick cheers guys!
I lost the spring for the solenoid but cut down one out of a clipper lighter works perfectly just incase some one else is prat and loses the spring like i did

I once replaced the springs, for the brushes on my motorbike starter, for ones out of a clicky pen
