what size T-piece is needed to fit a boost gauge?

6mm maybe?

where to source one?
Yeah pretty sure its 6mm. Best to have a look on ebay
Halfrauds sell em. Or, IIRC, the T piece from washer jet pipes fits. Grab one next time you're in the scrappy, maybe worth a check?
had this one in the end as i missed the other links *woopsy*

8mm--4mm--8mm

fitted a treat!
6-4-6 would be best, you should ideally be using 4mm id for the gauge hose anyhow
Is using a t piece the easiest way on an xud or is there somewhere to drill and tap?
T piece has to be the easiest way.
Takes 2 minutes to join t piece and run hose into car.
Where to t into on these, i know on the hdi t-ing is a pig, but going to help fit a boost gauge on one of these soon.
you ahve the intercooler, then the best way is to T into the line that runs from the intercooler to the boost compensator on the pump./

that is most common anyhow
Cheers guys. Should be able to figure it out.
It depends what size hose your gauge takes really.
the one which arrived for me.

Make sure you get a T-piece with anti-flutter in it. Nothing more annoying than a boost gauge that shakes more than harlem
