Headbolts...

Do the headbolts from the XUD7 fit the XUD9?

my local motorfactor is adamant that they are the same, BUT when comparing them side by side,

The XUD9 bolts are approximately 150mm, and there is a 25mm spacer on the bolt itself,

the XUD7 bolts are 124mm, total length..

as it happens, the bolts total length is a tiny tiny bit over the length of the XUD7 bolt without the spacer (flange is at the same position)

same thread, pitch, etc,. same T55 head.

any issue with fitting these without the spacer? (XUD7 to the XUD9)
Do the original xud7 headbolts use a spacer or washer? These are vital if they do
no they didnt, the original XUD ones do,. and the difference in length is the size of the spacer

the XUD7 bolts did NOT have the spacer, and are 124mm long
the XUD9 bolts in there at the moment are 148mm long, and have a 24mm spacer.
Personally I would get the right bolts with the spacers. Aren't the spacers for ensuring that the torque is applied correctly?
When I stripped down a XUD7 I noticed the bolts were shorter as you say without a spacer.
