Hi all

Just got my 406 up and running again with a rebuilt engine after the belt broke. After a long long time cranking I got it running but it sounds like this


Seems to me that number 4 injector is stuck shut

How would I sort this without swapping for another injector?

Pump is an 11mm semi ecu job, statically advanced a few degrees

Take injector 4 apart and clean it?

Take it for a run and rag the shit out of it?

Cheers! I have a set of injectors I'll clean up and put to one side....

Started the car again after, perfect! So it just needs a good drive

One more thing: diesel is flowing out through the little rubber vent beside the lda when the car's running, any ideas what's happening there?

Seal inside the lda has gone. Its where the wee boost pin travels

Well, this is embarrassing... It just needed a good tear up and down for a while. No more leak!

I need to do more adjustment with the pump but otherwise it's driving well. The new gov really transformed the car!
