Its in the wife's new 306 we just picked up yesterday. But it's bugging me. My NAD 405 has a plastic air distribution thingy, whereas this is metal, but engine looks identical to the xud, but I know the dw8 is based on the xud, this has a Bosch pump, as far as I know the dw8 only had Lucas.... Anyway I'm wittering on, here's a pic.....

I have a dw8 with a Bosch pump , but that doesn't look anything like it. I have a plastic manifold with egr on the side, fuel filter is different also. Think the dw8 was 99 onwards.

i had an xud with a plastic manifold.

but fuel filter housing says xud

Its definitely an XUD.

Thanks for all responses. I'm going to settle with out being xud. I was fairly sure it was, and as said above this one is too old (classic? ) for the dw8

I have a DW8 with a bosch pump. I had read they only fitted Lucas also, but it's not true!
