Hi my turbo seems to have started a loud whistle can anyone identify why it's started this
Has the cat pipe split? Boost pipe split/fallen off?

It's been de catted and could be it dosnt seem to have lost any power
Did it start when you decatted it? If so that's fairly normal, removing the cat means the sound resonates up and down the exhaust more.

The car was decatted when I got it it just sound like the turbo had got louder and when I let off th revs it's like a dump valve sound
Ah ok, that sounds more like a boost leak. Does it have a front mount intercooler fitted or is it standrd?

Standard one at the min
In which case it'll probably be a leak around the short silicone between the turbo and the main plastic boost pipe, can see it through the drivers arch if you take the liner out.

Had one a couple of weeks ago with exactly what poodle said, between the turbo outlet and the bottom pipe.
