Hello people, just seeing if anyone can shed some light. Went to the breakers today looking for bits for my mates 306 Dturbo S and saw a K plate Peugeot 405 and an S plate Citroen Xantia, both 1.9 XUD but had different pumps, i know the 405 one was definitely a Bosch i'm guessing 9mm? And the Xantia had a slightly different one, which i haven't seen before as i only knew of the Bosch and Lucas differences..

These are the pictures..

Firstly which pump is the better one of the two, and secondly what are the differences between the them?

Thanks in advance.
semi-ecu pump i think
the xantia is semi ecu controlled and no good for a 306

the 405 one is a normal bosch pump and that will work fine on a 306
Yep grab the 405 one it will work fine
Both bosch but the xantia one is semi ecu controlled so go for 405 one
the inlet off that xantia is worth taking too
pinch the air intake piping too down to the turbo, lots better than 306, that's what i have . .Smile
Thanks people, did wonder when I saw the little electrical plug lol

Potentiometer.... Great crack when it's rotated too far one way or another Sad

Xantia pump would have that gay armour too, pre 1998 they didn't fill in the screws (thank fook mine was a 1997 pump!!!)
