Anybody goot a guide on changeing the alternator tensioner on a ph1 dturbo non aircon model?
It's pretty easy mate, slacken alternator bolt of, push it back to slacked belt, replace belt, push back into original position, tighten bolt.

I found lying on the floor with the wheel off gave the best access.
Drivers wheel and arch liner out and you can get at it easy enough. Then theres a 6mm allen bolt in middle of the pulley then another 6mm allen headed bolt half way down the tensioner. Then theres one on the bottom facing up which controls the tension, so you'll need to adjust that first to slacken the bolt. but the top 2 need to cracked off aswell so the tensioner can move. If any of that makes sense. Once you see the thing it will!
thanks Tom
