strong engine, but yeah, not really many gains to be had from it. all the effort for engine conversion for stage 1 power
They're not 130bhp! Good strong engine same as in my sj but can't see any advantage to droping one in a 306
I thought they were 86bhp or sumit like that?
75bhp standerd
Sorry to spam this up but not allowed to post on the parts section yet. Do you still have the TD04 for sale Teddy?

f*ck now says it was a 1.9 on the advert as well lol
did they make a 1.9 turbo izuzu?!
dont think so unsure
think they did in the 80s but they will be in 2015.

so either its ancient or its futuristic!
Its a1.7 seen these make 160bhp running big turbo
I guess for the year its been a NAD and had the izuzu put in.
still an ancient engine even being the 1.7

I'm not sticking up for this Isuzu engine infact I couldn't give a shit but you do make some silly comments calling it a rubbish lump and saying it's ancient when it's really no older than the XUD engines.

It's an odd choice to put one of them in a 306 I agree but there's nothing wrong with that engine, I think you're just calling it shit because it's not a Peugeot/XUD. As far as I'm aware an "evolved" version of that 1.7 is still being used in brand new cars.
its a much older engine than the xud9. and, if possible, much less refined too
Absolute dose of an engine imo, boiled 3 of them in my younger pre-pug years, cav went well tbh but baked if held flat in 4th or 5th, now dont me get wrong your granda could probably clock up 300k on one but one bit of abuse or pump tuning and theyre a kettle.

evolved version exactly same way the hdi evolved from xud, which then evolved to 16v hdi wee see today!!

Sorry but that cars a fail imo complet waste of time
Haha mental, fair play to who ever went thro all the hassle, but god knows why, XUD is a much better motor!!
What other diesel engines would be worth converting to?
OM606

Hehe yeah, Mark (Mr-fish) used to have a cav back when we went college, which we screwed out, was good lols.
Those were the days! Didnt you email him way way back asking him what he'd done and he couldn't string a sentence together in English?! Lol that was back when we all thought the gt15 was the holy grail of turbos for the xud! Long way back now!
and 18psi was your lot...
