A d turbo engine has been put in my phase 3 1.9 d. And both the speedo and rev wasnt working.

After having a look about the engine bay I found a few plugs not pluged in by the air filter area. And plug one into the back of the box and the speedo worked. So now I need to get the rev counter going.

What cable is it, anyone got any pics so I can have a look at mine, to see if its unplugged or so.

Cheers

Scott
The sensor is located on the back of the engine, undo the 10mm bolt, and tap the sensor in slightly. It will just be because its too far away from the flywheel, but sometimes a tap on the back of it towards the fly can be enough to sort it out...
where abouts on the back mate? and whats it look like?

There is a cable that come from the back lower part of the engine round to the front near top of box with a grey connector on it. Is that it?

Cheers, Should have done a search, will get it out clean it up and push it back in, see if it gets it going.
The sensor goes in the back just above the drive shaft and it connects by the fuel filter
