Make the stereo turn off when the ignition goes off as I have to turn it off manually (now it works lol)
yes...
what stereo have you got?
Usually simply a case of swapping the red and yellow wires. Also usually bullet connectors for this purpose, assuming you're running an aftermarket HU
It's a jvc one but the standard one I took out was the same
swap the red and yellow. problem solved.
Forgot about the fuse, that's more likely what's going on if it was like it with the standard unit
Yeah the standard one was the same what's the shunt fuse ?

this^^^^
shunt fuse is marked HS you remove it and move it 1 slot up or down
im guessing yours is in the down position
what the fuse does is changes some ign powered things to be powered without the ign on like cigarette lighter and radio

Would have been a much better idea to mark it "SH" for SHunt.
Silly Peugeot for not thinking of that.

ha ha looking at the fuse again it is SH read left to right upside down or right way
wow wow hold on
it may be the fuse 23 the one thats off set in the picture above (yellow 20amp)
For me its fuse 1, very left most fuse, has 2 positions and is for radio
I have a 30 fuse fuse box and fuse 1 has to different positions
Should be fuse 1 then, move that to its other position and it should work like you want it to
Ill give it a try then mate thanks
6 years of 306 ownership several 306's and never noticed this. But makes sence why my radio never went off in my old 6 and the fuse was in a weird place.
