no . . .there are two types, one for the Lucas pump and one for a Bosch . . . .Bosch are higher break pressure . .

XUD9A - Bosch Injectors - 155bar break.
XUD9/Z - Lucas Injectors - 135bar break.
XUD9TE - Bosch Injectors - 175bar break.
XUD9TE - Lucas Injectors - 135bar break.
That's from memory, so may be a bit wrong, the Turbo Lucas ones MAY be 155bar, but can't remember.

Thanks for the info, but briefly the Lucas injectors are all the same then?
Only asking because my replacement engine arrived yesterday, its from a late model 306 and came complete with all ancillaries ( even an air con pump! )
But the Lucas diesel pump on the new engine looks slightly different to my original lucas one on the old engine and I'm not sure which one to use, hence the question above about injectors.
