Never been a fan of the big strips. Our Phase 1 sedan has the thinner strips from the factory.

Thanks!
Anto- the cooler is plumbed in. Will be swapping for my old one as this has huge pipes which really aren't necessary.
Agree with Stpehen about the strips though.

I'm thinking on some spoiler ideas. if anyone fancies doing a photo shot with some different types I'm be very happy

Bout due an update.
So not a lot has been done. I've fixed many little niggly which hadn't been finished off by the previous owner. Such as door cards not fitted properly, that stupid boost gauge/fig light, the lights which where missing half the innard. I could go on haha.

I fitted a short shifter from Piggy, which, really is short!

And fitted something today

I'm almost there Dum!

I seeeeriously need to turn down the fuel and bring up the boost, the pumps the one off Joey so you can imagine, set up for a lot of fuel but the turbo actuator is still at its stock setting so the coal is pure chronic! Also need to change to the Bosch injectors as I'm still running Lucas ones as I didn't have the correct socket which don't seem to bad if I'm honest.

The cambelt change was an absolute pig of a job partly because of the lack of room and rain (205's have a lot more room in certain places which the 306's don't) and the tensioner pulley spring was seized in there so I had to remove that bracket and whack it in a vice and smack it out and clean it up so it moved freely.
Then had trouble getting the belt taught between the pump and cam which I later worked out that the pump had to be fully retarded to get it taught. Is this normal? I've advanced it back no to get rid of the white smoke.
But so far it's running good and starts well.
Just need to sort out a decent turbo now and transfer my old intercooler on which doesn't have pipes the width of drainpipes like the current one.

can assure it its not short compared to what I got now!! lol!

glad you getting things how they should...needs a bigger though eh!

I found I had to pull the bosch pump pulley nut a wee bit with a spanner as my locking bolt allowed a tiny bit of play.....but cant see how retarding/advancing the pump will make much difference as the pulley will still lock off at the same point!! Huh

You aren't a true Peugeot owner until you've experienced your arch liner making a leap of faith whilst drivingBlush
