Yeah I've seen the pin out for it, I'll read up on canbus too. I like the look of the torque app although something more oem looking/ permanent ie the trip computer idea was a good'un. Going to do some more research

Cully has put up a pin diagram on the guide section.

I think the best thing you could use is the Torque app with a Bluetooth obd2 adaptor.

Most of the cheap ones I've used have issues connecting first time.

Any photo updates? And are the displays all the same, or is there a difference which one to use?

I have PH2 306 TD (lucas), and dont have an ECU. I know some of the features wont work, but what will remain? Clock (does it have?), Temp (i allready have a sensor), mpg (wont work), distance? AVG velocity? Thanks

Does your car have a speed sensor or a mechanical cable to the speedo?

If it's mechanical then only the temp.

If it has a speed sensor then you'll have distance, average speed and outside temp.

No clock unfortunately.

It wouldn't the worth the effort installing in an XUD.
