Brand new thermostat dodgy, 2nd one out of the spare block still pressurised so took the thing out. Temps at 70 witch is good but should the top hose still get quit hard?

The more higher temps get the warmer the heaters. Not loosing water and no oil in water
Also when I hit boost it drops like 3 psi in 3rd-4th
