Modifying engine mount
#1
Due to the ridiculous a/r the compressor housing has, I am having issues with servo clearance. Namely, that there isn't any! The steering knuckle clears, just but the compressor housing is just snugly sat on the servo.

Which mount is best to modify to create clearance? I need about 10/15mm... top? Or the bottom, torque stabilising mount (forked one)? Was thinking the top engine mount myself... Either make up one from steel (as original is aluminium and I can't really weld that with a mig) or redrill a new hole into chassis where the stud comes through and relocate it a 10/15mm down, if possible?

I'm not sure if this is how all cars with solid engine mounts are, but its just fkin ridiculous!! I can barely hear myself speak inside and it's just rattling the poor froggie to bits.. Some advice if you will lads, boost stabilisation ftl.. cheers

You can cut and weld the top one like jarrus and baker might do you an eccentric bottom mount to push that forward.
