Oil temp
#1
So today I fitted my oil temp gauge and what not and it works like a dream Smile

The question I want to ask is, what oil temp should I start to worry at? I've had it at 100 oc tonight and weren't really worried but would just like to know.

100*C is reasonably normal, you should be seeing just over 100*C at times as it will be boiling off any condensation from the oil...

Normal running temperature is about 85-90*C, but remember that DTs don't like high oil temperature, just as much as they shouldn't run too cool....

Mine can be anything from 70-95 depending on weather/rage

Need to sort my coolant stat which has a big effect on it though!
