right here is one for you I installed a Sony head unit in my 306 1.6 v reg and now every time i turn it on i have to re tune my radio and put in all my settings again.[/b][/u] i've been told its because the electrics are wrong in the car and two wires need to be changed over but don't no which ones any one who knows would be good to get some help cheers

You need to swap the permanent live and switched lives around, cant remember the colours but someone will soon tell you mate.

Or you could use a voltmeter to test them

Back of the head unit, yellow and red, swap them

Normally they have bullet connectors Inline so you can swap them as different cars have different wiring systems

just pull it out and look for 2 wired with bullet connectors, theyre on the car iirc
