In my last page of my thread theres a pic of my setup...may need to cut a bit of slam panel but it saves a LOT of agro and removal of stuff plus its a shorter route

Never been keen on routing over rad's tbh.. Blush

No arch liners either?

Just wondering whether to go the same way I went last time like this:

Or something slightly different like yours.

Got a small washer bottle and had to cut 2 holes for the boost pipes. Still got the arch liners.

More than welcome to have a look at it at FCS

So the car made it to FCS and back again without any issues which was good as i was the first decent run it had been on since the engine rebuild. And some pics of my car from the FCS weekend that i have stole from various people

Last weekend i made the trip over to Southampton to pick up some ph1 gti6 half leathers. Was another good chance to give the car a good run. As i knew i was picking up a few seats i took all my seats out apart from the drivers the night before and was lucky i did as the car was pretty full

[Image: D4AD3D06-9295-4FAA-9E36-B856FFB725C4_zpswghtbfrc.jpg]

All the seats i managed to fit into my car. 3 sets of fronts, 2 sets of rears and 8 headrests

[Image: 63DC58EE-6457-4878-813B-7C1CFAB059F0_zpsnot3z1c6.jpg]

The best conditions 1s got fitted into my car and another set into Jimbo's kingfisher. Now just trying to sell what i got left due to not having any room to store them, so if anyone is after some ph1 gti6 seats let me know Smile

After the run to Southampton i thought it would be a good time to give it an oil and filter change as it was due really after i have racked up about 1000 miles since the engine was rebuilt. Also drained the coolant and gave it a flush through and put some fresh back in.

Thats about it now but i hope to try and get it on a rolling road sometime soon so we shall see

Few little bits. I seemed to have a bit of free play in my throttle when there was travel but didn't seem to do anything so i turn the throttle arm on the pump forward a spline and what a difference that has made. Its so much more responsive now.

Also for some reason i decided to but some white speedlines/SMRs off Connor (Mac22) which were originally on Jimbo's kingfisher. I popped them on today to see how they look and i think they look pretty good. I like the fact there not that so common on the 306 unlike the challengers but i think i do prefer the challengers.

I got them on with the 20mm spacers at the moment and i think that is to much really. I think 10mm would be a lot better but will see how i get on like they are for the time being

They did look good but i had to take them off like straight away as with having them fitted with the 20mm spares they rubbed on the back. I just took them off and put the challengers back on, They would of been ok without spacers but i think they look to far in. Maybe need some 10 or 15mm i reckon.

I do have a set of nimrods but they need refurbing and i just haven't got round to sorting them.

Yeah still got the K03 on it. Seems to be going alright. Got it running a steady 20psi at the moment. Want to get it on a rolling road soon

I liked the fact there white. I was never a fan of the white wheels but now i just love white wheels on it.

Theres so many dings etc over the car i just dont worry about them any more. Like i got the rust sorted on the roof last year but its all coming back already so i just dont seen the point it trying to make and keep it really tidy

Challengers just seem to look good on it so why change them i guess then. But who knows what the speedlines may end up on

Not updated this for a while but then again not much has happened but any way went to pugfest which i did enjoy and did end up doing a couple of hill runs thanks to Poodle Smile I had never done any track or hill runs etc before so i didn't know what to expect but i did enjoy it. My first 1 was steady as i had never done it before but the 2nd 1 I boosted on a bit more. Car seemed to go alright and felt pretty good going up the hill. Got a few videos

Not much has actually happened to the car though. I did mot it last weekend so don't need to worry about that for another year Smile

I have now fitted a volts gauge that i got off jimbo. Dont really know why but gauges are WIN right? Anyway i got a twin pillar pod to replace the signal 1 that just had a boost gauge in. All fitted

Nothing else really but i do hope to get it on the rollers sometime soon

Well yesterday it finally happened..... I got it on the rollers. Didn't really know what to expect as i dont think anyone has the same turbo but 1 had always said i want 140bhp but about 150bhp would be nice. And the result

[Image: DE24088E-0FFC-46CF-A74D-BF2FFE6EE518_zpsr6mr5cyg.jpg]

150bhp and 219lbf ft. Not to bad but i did think that the torque would have been a bit higher but happy with the power. I could up the boost but i duuno if it would make much of a difference. We do reckon the air filter and pipping is a bit restrictive though

The only pic i got

[Image: 7DF4BC87-7A33-401B-A04E-03A171796FAB_zpsrkbu42tg.jpg]

I think mark may have some videos so will try and get the on here at some point

Just needs a tad more fuel + boost!

That's a cracking graph tbf, compared to a lot that you'll see on here!! Theoretically the pump should deliver that sorta fuel until 5000rpm - I reckon a good bit of tweaking with the pump to give the governor a bit more tension to stop it from tailing off up high, you should be able to hold that torque curve until 4200rpm ish which should push your power up a tad. Combined with a bit more fuel all over, should see the torque around 240lb.ft and the power up to 165 ish - but will need revs.

Does it start smoking past 4000rpm or so?

Yeah I have been playing it safe as its my daily but got plans to have this as more of a 'fun' car so could see about getting some more out of this.

Cheers though, Was pleased but always nice to have more power etc. Maybe if you down this way some time or overs marks we could have more of a play as its still a learning curve for me with getting the most out of these

It don't really smoke on boost but does smoke fair off boost, but as you said it prob needs some playing about with the pump

Popped up to the local rolling road to put Frosty’s D-Tractor on.

This thing sounds complete Win when it’s on song, video doesn’t do it justice.

This is looking awesome bud, fair play. Personally i've got to recommend finding and fitting some arch liners as soon as possible, I destroyed my door looms and caked the whole area in inches of wet, abrasive, acidic, tarry shite in about six months without them.

Been a day or 2 since i have updated this, mainly due to getting the estate. Anyway i still got this on the road and tend to drive it during the week. I have popped some clones on as 'winter' wheels

[Image: 5613269A-CB8C-4FD5-9E48-CC59A6EC784F_zpsdinwqe65.jpg]

I also purchased some plamsa dials mainly due to wanting the speedo clocks etc to kind of match up with the gauges i got

[Image: A892FE28-90C1-4836-A469-53A1D054B3E7_zps4uxysgcc.jpg]

[Image: 27749352-EB77-48E8-B357-F426BDA4A2D8_zpsnyyxpsnz.jpg]

Other than that not much has happened. I got some 21mm torsion bars that i will see about fitting once i have given them a coat of paint

Been driving this a fair bit at the moment as the estate was off the road for over a month. Had to do a wheel bearing on it a couple of weeks back that was well and truly gone. Wacked a pair of new (2nd hand) tyres on the front that i got off Jimbo.

Had a boost pipe pop off last Saturday which was the hardest 1 to get to. Had to take the inlet off to pop it back on so while that was off i thought i would check the turbo, to my disappoint i found the turbo has pretty much had it. Its got a fair amount of in-out play but it still seems to drive fine and boost well. I will start looking for a replacement at some point before it fails on me. Not sure what to go for. Fancy a bit of a change and more power so may see about a GT20
