Photobucket Fix
#1
Not sure if this has been said before but if you want to see peoples' forum pictures and you're using chrome you can install this Chrome extension to restore them.

It will only work if they haven't already deleted their photobucket account.

It seems to have worked for me at least....

I've tried a few and got one working two days ago. Just haven't been on a PC to post. I'm still going to redo all my threads :/

I redid my project thread and the site photo uploader is a godsend - not many forums have this.

The fix above has at least helped me see some of guides again.

Some forums are running scripts to pull all images off Photobucket and host locally, it's down to the forum Admin's to decide if they want to do that though.

I don't know specifics, but theminiforum.co.uk ran something on the site that sorted out all the photo's and I think ClioSport.net did as well.
Maybe worth e-mailing their admins or something to see if they can give you more info?

My programming was never very good so I don't really know how they did what they did, but some sites have got photobucket images back.

if you add ~original to the end of images they appear. Might just be searching for photobucket images and then adding that before the .jpg etc. If they are doing that then it can only be a temporary fix before PB realise and block that too

Not sure it's that to be honest, look at this thread for example:

http://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/top...generator/

You click on the picture and it takes you through to PB, but if you copy the image address it comes back as part of theminiforum domain???
