GI: 2004 Clio 182

Debating on selling my 182. After a diesel or something turbo, I'm just not 'gelling' to it as much as I thought as I would, and doesn't suit me much for a daily.

Project thread here: http://306oc.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=35300

Clean car, 96k miles, cup suspension pack but all the usual 182 goodies. Auto climate, auto Xenon's, auto wipers. Two keys. Modifications are KTec Ultra Performance exhaust, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, KTec Group N remap. Whole ring binder full of history. Brand new rear tyres, fronts are very good.

Ideally looking for £2,250.

Please add a price you have in mind fella Smile

Looks a tidy example and i would of thought would sell fairly easily! Points people really look for with these is proof of belts & dephaser being changed.

Price added!

She's tidy enough yeah. Belts and dephaser were done couple of years ago, around 80k miles from memory. I'll find the invoice.

EDIT: cambelt and dephaser replaced at 80,200 miles by KTec in April 2014.

Yeah it was priced a bit high, although I had it up on Gumtree at £2300 and had plenty of interest. A lad from Isle of Wight is coming over tomorrow though to come and get it. So providing he buys it and doesn't get the train back, this is now sold! Pick up the replacement to this tomorrow evening as well. Photos to come!

Yeah completely different drive. I needed to go back to a diesel, or forced induction at least. I'm a torque whore! I wish I had more time to use the Clio for proper B-road blasts or track days, but it's just been usual car activities since I've owned it. Whenever I've driven it a 9/10ths, it's been an absolute hoot. Only thing that's been as much fun was my DTurbo. But it's a rarity I actually get to appreciate the driving dynamics of it, which is a cracking shame. I'm going to see if I can pick up a cheap 172 and keep as a toy - there are loads about for cheap money needing belt changes which I'd happily do.

Nice one, diesels with torque and mpg's definately make the best dailys, yeah the 172s are getting cheap now, id love a 172 Cup in Mondial Blue I think its called but its hard to find a good one! ones that are seem to be rare and pricey!
