Rear fan - Cabby
#1
Hey guys, for those in the know,

does the rear window fan unit on the cabby supply heat? or is it just to blow air? only it never seems to clear the window of condensation...... its about as much use as a chocolate fire guard

To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be!

While you've probably worked it out by now, They have a heating element wire in the housing that provides p*ss poor heat.
They work just like a hairdryer which seems surprisingly appropriate.

So there should be some heat there. Not alot, but some........ which could be why it takes forever to clear.

I will have to check just how much heat is coming out. As i am using the car through winter, and a clear rear window would be helpful Smile

Thanks puggered.
