Yes I know but I'm after a direct comparison between ds2500's, m1144's and then what are their life span vs OE. 
I'm sure the first 2 a £100 better but is it worth it, it's not for track days, are they good but I'll have to replace come next month. i had green stuff and they lasted me a few thousand

m1144 or ds2500 for the road will be more than enough. ds2500 have the edge, but then the price reflects it.

I haven't found either wear out particuarly quickly

After using both within last 6mth, DS2500r's are a fair bit better imo.
As said, price reflects that. They are known to do 50k miles

I used DS2500 on my GTi-6. Cant fault them. Yes they are expensive but I only fitted 2 sets in 10 years. That was on a daily driver that got plenty of abuse.

Im in same situation atm. I cant find reasonable priced pads for the occasional track blast.
On a break from 306oc for personal reasons. If anyone needs or wants me most of you have my number and or facebook messenger
