Virtual XP/ PP2000 Help
#1
Evening!

I'm trying to install Diagbox software on my laptop so i can activate cruise control on my Berlingo. I have purchased a PP2000 and Diagbox Software from eBay. (see links below) My laptop has Win 7 Pro 64 bit installed and according to the seller, diagbox only works on XP Vista 7 & 8 32 bit only.

So i set up Virtual XP and installed Diagbox but i cant seem to get the interface to talk to my laptop. It just says unidentified device. When its first plugged in it says driver failed to install. Anyone any ideas?

Do i have all the correct software and interface to activate cruise control?

Edit - Is Diagbox not Lexia and Pug Planet?

you need to set an identifier to take the usb device from your main operating system and send it to the virtual one, should be in the virtual machine settings

I'll take a look now. I don't know if it's a problem with the driver.

The problem is a usb device is a one at a time style device, so your virtual machine and your main operating system cant both have access to it together

Any more ideas?

Did you make it so when the device is plugged into the computer it is taken from the main is and made accessable by the virtual os?

When in XP mode there is a tab at the top that says USB. I click on the device and it says unable to connect. Is this right?
