they have french diesels in them anyway, why would they want one from the arc?

Everything uses HDi motors these days!

BMW, Landrover/Range Rover, Jaguar, Ford, Toyota (ProAce), Suzuki, Volvo, Mazda, Fiat - just to name a few!

no, vw group use their own.

thought fiat would have been gm engines, same as saab used to.

ah, the vans! whatever they call the dispatch/expert equivalent has a dw10, the bigger one is a puma 2.2 (boxer/relay)

Can't get along with the idea of a diesel Jag, or even a V8 Jag. Has to be a straight six or V12 for me, preferably a 3.8 XK in an E-Type or a 5.3 triple carb V12 in a series 1 XJ12 Big Grin

those 3.0 v6's are impressive things, upto 270 bhp as standard I think.

the v8 in the range rover is the same lump with added pistons essentially, and they sound very good for a standard diesel.
