My pug! (First car)
#1
Thought it was about time I posted a few pics of my car after being on here for a nearly a year!

It's nothing special but is my first car so has some sentimental value, it's a 1999 1.9td meridian in blaze yellow

This is when i first bought it totally standard in December last year....

Since then I've cleaned her up a bit and added a few mods (the previous owner didn't even recognise it last week!!)

Passenger side wing needs changing as its always had a dent in but haven't got round to replacing.

Exterior-

- Phase 3 crystals, which i then made in to black masks.
- Cyclones already in black which i still need to get round to refurbing.
- Front badge painted black.
-Compulsory no smoke, no poke sticker for the back window.
- Team Heko wind deflectors.
- Rear dewiper

Interior-
- Fli coaxial speakers front and back (will be upgrading to components soon)
- Fli twin subwoofer (not sure of model bought of my brother for 60 quid
- Pioneer headunit
- Marvel superheroes sickerbombed center console (couldn't stand the fake wood trim)
- Managed to find a original meridian 5 speed silver topped gear knob to replace the chavy all metal one that it came with.
- Autogauge 30psi boostgauge with amber backlight to match the clocks.
- A set of cheap tailored mats which cost me £14 delivered.

Engine -

- 1.9td with just over 174,000 on the clock. (had 161k when i passed my test and first started driving it in march)
- Lucas pump which has been screwed (did source a bosch pump but had some trouble witht the seller)
- Garret GT15 turbo, making a steady 20 psi
- Manual boost controller
- Standard top mount interwarmer (got a fmic set up in the garge, just need a few more pipes)
- Pipercross cone filter
- Also had a cambelt change about 10,000 miles ago
- New glow plugs 2 months ago
- Oil and filters due to be changed now
- Decat downpipe, standard center section and powerflow backbox.

Suspension and braking-

- 30mm lowering springs with standard shocks on the front.
- GTi 6 front brakes with master cylinder.
- Both front wheel bearings changed in the past 6 months.
- Standard rear beam which actually sits quite well with the front being lowered.
