HDi Wiring Problem
#1
Ok the daunting task of looking at the wiring again.

The IGN stays live as soon as I connect the battery. As in, the battery light illuminates, the wipers, radio, clock, etc all work. Its as if I have the IGN in position 1.

I have had the ignition switch off, changed the alternator and still no change.

When I remove the bigger plug off the front chassis leg it goes off.

Any help or tests I can do would be much appreciated!

Seem to have sorted this strangely after a lot of messing around.

I will never understand french wiring.

Just lol. Might be worth cleaning up and waterproofing that connection near the front, has been known to cause fires.

Yeah the one for the fans has been cut off and insulated.

It was the main engine loom one that was cutting the light out.

Believe it or not the problem was inside the car, the relay that controls the inner blower motor seemed to be sticking and causing it? How... I dont know. Lol

Feedback from dodgy relays causes all kinds of weirdness, glad my car only started doing it a month before it needed to come off the road anyway lol.
