Turbo for city driving , GT2056S
#1
Question
Doing a lot of driving around city's lately and was looking for a turbo that would spool up quickly and deliver some punch but would also need to be decent on motorways

So reading up on here and it doesn't seem like a t04 would suit this soo more reading brought me to the T25 or the Gt2056S

Also I'm running a kkk turbo at the minute turned up to 19psi with fmic

Just after some opinions really and what's involved

I know where to get oil lines from but not exhaust flanges also ?

T25 is probably worse than the TD04 really. 2056 or 52 would be fine.

straight easy fit go for a gt15 or even k03 of the later dturbos.

id be tempted by the renault one if i was you but fabrication isnt a problem for me

all depends on your own circumstances, turbo chages alone can be an arseache, never mind trying to mod one that doesnt come standard

So what's better the gt15 or k03

I am tempted as they seem to be going for alot kn ebay and i dont want to get another turbo and then decide I want one of these and miss a chance of getting it for 70quid !

Fabrication as in welding new exhaust flanges is no issue just need to know where to get the flanges from , or are you guys using the ones off the traffic / daily manifolds ?

Well it's no issue if the car was off the road for a week or so i could use another car as my daily

GT2056s is an ace turbo...

But a GT15/Ko3 would, imo, be better suited to daily driving, better still, a GT15vnt
Wishes for more power...

Ant vnt would be ace around town tbh, a t25/t2 hybrid is also a quick spooler.

So should I bother getting it for 70 quid and give it a go or just let it be scrapped ?

A NAD is never better in any situation other than for driving at 60mph down the motorway for epic mpgs.

Even then, a turbonad would be even better on fuel Tongue

There isnt much point on spending on another standard turbo though really ? The standard gt15 is great but the k14 still isnt that bad at all ?
