Broken wire?
#1
Trying to get the "driving lights" working on the 205. Check the bulbs and the plugs moved upto the relay and tested that, couldnt get a peep from them.

Read online someones driving lamps kept blowing fuse 4... My fusebox thing shows 4 as a blank so i stuck a 10amp fues in there and hey presto one side is working...

Now the other side isnt, the earth is good, meter goes beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, but in the power side im getting either 0.3v or 0.03v i cant remember which (meter on 20v setting) is this likely to be a broken wire? This loom runs from the drivers side down under the rad and back up the other side so theres a chance the looms got yanked on a few times in its life...]

Assuming that the wiring is original, check the yellow 2-pin plug that joins the driving light to the main light loom - probably located in the immediate vicinity of the headlight. These (like most of the unsealed connectors on a 205) are prone to suffering from corrosion and bad contacts.

Usually, a bit of WD40 and reseating the connector a few times fixes it.

Checked them the voltage is 0.3 at that plug on the one side that doesnt work, so i assume if its a break its further back than that...
