For Sale: Peugeot 205 Roland Garros SOLD!!!
#1
Good friend of mine has recently been put in a positidon where she has to sell her beloved 205 Roland Garros due to having nowhere to keep it anymore, it's essential for her that it goes to a good home so I volunteered to advertise it here before having to resort to eBay....

So the specs.....
Just rolled over 111k

1989 (G reg) Peugeot 205 Roland Garros edition
1.4 petrol on solex twin butterfly carb (it will easily out drag a stage 1 Dturbo to 70mph, proper little beast!)

Totally original and everything in good working order including non leaking sunroof

Recent new brake pads and a few other bits for the last mot, loads of previous service history

Roland garros edition then, this one is the slightly rarer 3dr hard top version (majority of Roland garros are convertibles)
White and red leather gti interior as standard, electric windows, Rev counter, white leather steering wheel, red seat belts, gti centre console with digital clock and ashtray etc
Gti shell standard so have the valences with front fogs (main beam flash mod) in Roland garros exclusive colour, dark metallic green

It's an absolutely cracking little car, and weighing in at just over 800kg and 80bhp it's got a fair bit of poke for a 1400, also amazing on petrol and cheap to insure :-D

Will tax the car before the buyer collects, mot until August I think (will confirm when I check the documents)

Now for the only bad bit of the car, it's suffering from pretty bad laquer peel, worst bits are bonnet and bootlid, with a couple of patches on the roof, the old man my friend bought it off has attempted to repair the peel on the bootlid by spraying it with a different green, not the end of the world but annoying

It's a great car with no issues (that I know about) but is let down by the laquer peel, looking for £460 no offers

Cheaper price before I put it on eBay with the hope that someone will buy it and love it

So
1989 205 Roland Garros, totally original
1.4
6 months tax, 6 months mot

£460

More pictures on request but here's a few I took last time we went for a drive (it will be sold with original 13" Roland garros alloys, NOT the speedlines)

If I didn't have my heart set on a gti6 I would love it, I've driven it a fair amount and it's brilliant fun, can't believe how well it goes :-D

If it's the same engine as the XS, they go bloody well! My mate had one until he left it parked outside his work with no tax on it, got towed away never to be seen again.

Looks like a bargain to me Smile.
