Electric gremlins

Hi all. I run a 2001 5dr estate hdi. All of a sudden I have recurring probs with glow plug relay, have had a brand new relay fitted, worked ok for 3/4 days now the glow plug will not illuminate on first turn of key, have to turn twice for it too work. I know it does not come on in warm weather, I need it now it`s cold. Once running it`s fine, anyone else with same prob? Prob No 2, once started run for a few miles(hot) it will not start first time, have to turn key for second time again. Have I diagnosed it correctly, fuel pump relay? I have a brand new one to fit, hope it cures it.
Prob No 3. central locking bouncing back, my car has had a front drivers door fitted from a donor car, phase 2 I think. Is that the cause? When I first had car it had same prob, replaced door motor and that cured it for 6yrs. Have checked door loom no breaks in it, also will spray some contact cleaner onto pins in door plug this pm to try that first. Anyone else suffered same faults? Will update re contact cleaner on pins.Huh

Update re contact cleaner, it seems to of cured start probs, will try again tomoz, As for c/locking it still bounces back, any suggestions. Does anyone know which fuse it is for locking system, and is it in the engine bay or under dash. Would rather lose some functions, knowing I can lock car with key.
