Lights pulsing..

Ok so realised this maybe within the past month, but when i turn the car on at night or the morning whens its cold talking 2-3degrees even less, but the lights flicker for the first 5mins or that until the car gets up to heat, anyone know why this is.? It never happens if the car starts from warm..

its the electric coolant heater and the fuel heater switching in and out drawing large amounts of current which drops the voltage

mine does the same when its cold

My XUD does this but its just the alternator spinning faster and slower as the revs hunt from 500 to 1500 on cold SVO

Nothing better than an xud hunting and smoking like f*ck on a cold winters morning. That and the smell of veg to wake you up!
