Uprated Cams - BHP Gains?

The V6 sits in the same linear location as the XU lump.

Mine sits lower to keep centre of gravity as low as possible too.

The main thing is that it sits inline with the struts and being a V-engine you get a similar amount of additional weight in front of the strut-line as you do behind.

I would definitely agree with your thoughts if ALL of the 60kg were added in front of the strut line. That would be a nightmare (think early 911 in the rain!) :-;

Now, can I supercharge this for just £1500 ???...

Don't know where you would fit a supercharger with a V6 in the engine bay lol

But yeah i can't see any reason why not.

You could supercharge it for £150, so long as you don't mind it blowing up at some point Big Grin

Only had the V6 in a 309 and that handled very well so this weight thing is all over rated unless building a outright race car. One day if I can persuade the owner we will Turbo it

Someone said many years ago "There is no substitute for capacity". They are still correct today.

My 1.9 Turbodiesel makes 313lb.ft at 2400rpm... Jus' Sayin...

And weighs less than a GTi6....
