I have just finished changing the heater matrix in my 2001 306 and it won't start it turns over but won't fire. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks.

Possible. Did you unplug the ring around the ignition?

Do you know if its getting a spark or fuel?

Yes I had to unplug the immobiliser to move the dash, I haven't checked for fuel or spark yet.

When you flick the key to the second stage, can you hear the fuel pump under the back seats priming? If not, check the inertia switch and also check the two large multi plugs under the glove box are connected properly.

I can't hear the fuel pump, and there is no spark. I have pressed the inertia switch and rechecked all the multi plugs. There is a red stop sign in the middle of the dash which is staying on when the key is at the second stage.
