Having a bit of bother with the car radio, the FM/AM doesn't work at all now, used to work a bit, but now it doesn't.
I have put a new aerial wire in (both bits) but doesn't seem to have made any difference,
anything i should know about? or is the general 306 aerial just plain wank?

Standard aerial has always been more than adequate for me, brand new genuine ones are only ~£15 if you fancy trying that next. Don't suppose it could be getting interference from anything, break in the sheathing etc..?

Iirc the aerials are supposed to be powered from the standard HU for better reception
Remember seeing a guide for adding a regulator on here somewhere but can't remember who's it was

If you're using an aftermarket headunit get the longer aerial from a ph1 and you'll get your stations back.
Even with the reg mod the ph3 isn't that good, the ph1 aerial picks up better a lot better reception.
