xsara piece of engine loose...
#1
Hey,

I know, I dare show my face around here without a 306... Sad I promise you the day will come again...

but before that day comes, I looked under my xsara picasso hdi today and saw this:

Anyone like to enlighten me...got a clutch change last month and haven't looked under the car since so not sure if this was a garage thing.

Looks like its meant to be filled with oil...engine oil is still good

meant to be driving 250 miles up north this afternoon....

gears change fine, sound a bit clonky but drives fine.

That's the bottom of the gearbox, they have a big bracket underneath that 306s don't have as they use a BE4 gearbox.

Is it that piece underneath that is loose?

Looks like the gearbox plug is leaking, they haven't replaced the washer.

i cannot move it by hand but it looks so wrong. Surely that isn't how it should sit. Garage is closed today..will take it back to have it checked out.
